Bellingham Bells Baseball Game

Bellingham has a minor league baseball team and we were fortunate enough to be given some tickets by a man that works for Ryan. We figured that this would be a great family activity, as the girls have shown some interest in baseball games. We picked a night, one with fireworks after the game, and headed to town.

Between each inning, they have some sort of little activity that they do to keep the crowd amused. So, one particular inning, they invited the children to run across the field with the team mascot, Cluck. Naturally, the older girls thought this sounded like a terrific idea...........so their dad took them to the staging area for all the runners. What he didn't know was that he would have to run across the field too............in order to be with them on the other side. He wasn't' real pleased about that, but didn't find out until it was too late. It made for cute pictures anyway!

We had a good time. Can't remember who won, but they did have a good little fireworks display after.
