Hannah's Field Trip to Birch Bay

Hannah's pre-school class went to Birch Bay last week for their annual field trip. It was supposed to be a fun filled time, exploring the sea life, enjoying nature, and having a picnic. Well, it was mostly all of those things, however, you would have thought that it was the middle of winter outside! The wind was blowing, it was overcast and it was quite chilly. We muddled through, with very little complaining, only a couple of, "Mom, I got snot!" from Ellie. We cut loose a little early and drove home rather quickly and turned ON the fireplace and turned UP the furnace. We were warmed in no time.
